Owners, Jon and Kristen Carr's (pictured above) business is a combination of retail sales, outdoor kitchen design and construction, and a complete culinary education and entertainment program. Inside our culinary campus you will find everything you need from start to finish for the outdoor lifestyle you have always dreamed of. Retail Store
Our retail store was started in the spring of 2003 and has really taken flight. We have an array of products for the outdoor chef and promise to have something for every level of culinary experience. All of our products are centered around the outdoor grill and will be sure to enhance your grilling experience. Whether it be charcoal or gas grills you are looking for, we have assembled some of the finest grills on the market today. We have put each grill to the test and have personal experience with each line we carry. Big Green Eggs, BeefEater, Kalamazoo Outdoor Gourmet to name the bread and butter of our grill lines.
We have every accessory you can imagine to help make your grilling experience a success. From silicone basting brushes and grill baskets, to cedar grilling planks and pizza stones, you are sure to find that gadget you have been looking for. Don't forget to check out the selection of rubs and sauces that will make your barbecue one they'll be talking about. Kitchen Design and Construction
Jon Carr, owner, has been in the landscaping industry for over 20 years and has been designing landscapes for the same amount of time. When the retail store opened in 2003, Jon decided to shift his design focus to one of his personal passions, outdoor entertaining spaces. Jon loves to cook and his passion shows in the spaces he creates. Our talented construction crew brings his ideas to life and many beautiful spaces have been created and enjoyed. Culinary Center - Home of Grillmasters University
 We have a full time chef on staff with over 16 years of experience and a degree in Culinary Arts. Chef Keith Angell heads up this leg of the business and instructs our weekly cooking classes which have become very popular. Our indoor facility in addition to our outdoor courtyard allows for a variety of venues to facilitate culinary events. We host year round cooking classes and private events centered around outdoor cooking. We have an industrial grade exhaust hood in our culinary center that allows us to cook on the grill indoors all year round. Again, we only use grills that we carry in the retail store, which allow you to touch and see how each grill performs. Our cooking classes offer instruction on how to prepare the perfect barbecue no matter what the menu. We have labeled this part of the business, Grillmasters University where you can come and learn a little grillology from Chef Keith Angell. It really is great fun.
